After the constant spotlight on her style, and winning the British Style award by Vodafone, Alexa Chung has now the new role as British Fashion Council Young Style Ambassador. -Attending exclusive fashion events to support British fashion design globally. I can't find anyone else who would be more suitable to represent British Fashion!

for the win: knit sweaters

Either than keeping you cozy, knit sweaters look great with almost anything and everything.

It can turn your outfit down a notch from semi-formal to semi-casual, and that's what I love about these sweaters. On a lazy day I like to wear a longer knit with leggings and comfy toms, just keeping it really simple. For a dinner with friends or a date, I would wear a shorter knit with a chiffon blouse under, letting the collar slip out over the sweater, then match it up with dark skinnies or a fitted skirt with sheer black tights and black pumps. These tops are basic, versatile and comfortable at the same time.

If you do not own a knit sweater, then I feel very sorry for you... :(

Finally. 19.

It's still hard for me to believe I'm finally 19. To celebrate my glorious day, my ladies and I went to eat at a great sushi restaurant on West Broadway called "The Eatery".

(I'm the one in the mint green chiffon!)

Aside from the delicious dishes, I absolutely loved their ambiance. With only candles on tables and a projector on a wall to light up the restaurant, it offered a fun social atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Their food is Asian based, but with quirky American touches.

("The Sweetheart"-scallop, salmon, fish eggs, cucumber + avocado

&"Green Hornet"-avocado, mango, i think it had tuna(?) )

(deep fried mars bar + vanilla ice cream + whip cream + chocolate drizzle)

They gave me a special dessert for being the birthday girl. It was amazing. I'm definitely going to go back there saying it's my birthday again, just to get my hands on that scrumptious treat!

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, from child actress to fashion designer. I remember watching their tv series and movies while growing up, thinking they were the coolest movie stars on earth. Now they are known to have one of the best styles. Especially for their neutral "boho-chic", they became a noticeable growing popular trend since `06. The Olsen twins are now obvious fashion icons with their effortless layers of oversized looks, which consists of mixing both high and low end pieces.

home sweet home

In the heart of New York, the "capital of the world", is where I want to be. Where everything you need is just around the corner or across the street.Tall buildings, busy people and crowded streets inspire me to be innovative and diligent. Like everyone else, I don't like being bored, and really rather be constantly busy. With that mindset, I tend to believe that the city makes sure that your time is never wasted, so living in one will definitely make life ten times more worth living.

I have to admit though, I'm being a little prejudice here. Never in my life have I seen New York with my own eyes, nor have I ever lived in a busy community... But from my weekend visits to downtown Vancouver and Seattle, I'm assuming New York will be a million times better with an endless to do list!

Floor to ceiling windows for lots of natural light and a view of the city. -Brick walls for more texture into the interior, perfect for a fitted loft to keep things interesting.

A small room just for sleep to keep me away from any more distractions by bedtime.

Or a bigger room with a little more décor for a warming vibe, and to represent my personality

A cute kitchen to enhance my "cooking skills". Or maybe just for the quick meals...
